@VIP11111111111 Great that you’re planning to apply from Saudi Arabia. They look for unique individuals from all other the world, so you might have a pretty good shot.
First of all, in order to transfer you need 48 transferable semester unit. Other than that you’ll need a video portfolio, photo portfolio, a personal statement, an idea for a story or a script and three letters of recommendation. Furthermore, you need to have at least 100 on the TOEFL iBT, good SAT score and a college transcript.
Good luck. My friend went to the USC School of Cinematic Arts for a visit and he really liked it. I really thought about applying too, but without a scholarship I can neither attend USC, NYU, Chapman or UCLA, so I didn’t bother applying to any of them.
I’m moving to San Diego this month from Copenhagen, Denmark to attend the Film Program at San Diego State University. Hopefully I’ll get scholarships for a transfer to USC. May I ask how do you afford it yourself?
so As I saw on one of your vlogs that you got accepted into USC’s school of Cinematic Arts!!! that must be really exciting! so happy for you
I’m from overseas (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and i really need your help about USC’s School of Cinematic arts .. What were the requirements to get in? And since i’d be considered as an International Student I just need you to find out for me since you’re already there if the GRE score is required to get in the MFA Film and TV production Program?
CONGRATS! Ah that’s awesome! I’m now going to be a freshman in college and was accepted to NYU’s Tisch for film but it’s too expensive so I’ll be at UT Austin for a year or two (I missed the USC deadline) then I want to transfer to USC as well. You’ll do awesome at USC! Can’t wait to see how you enjoy your time there. What’d you submit for your portfolio?
Congratulations on getting in to USC! I’m looking forward to your future work. Filming and editing are past-times for me and my best friend so it’s going to be awesome seeing what you come up with gaining experience from a prestigious academia such as USC.
I am planning on producing a movie but never went to college for film.
That would be the best place to find movie producers. Right now I am novus film maker but need to assemble a team to make this movie. I wish you the best of luck!
I’m going to do my best to get in however my GPA is 3.0, That may effect my chances. If anyone knows anything about this please contact me THANKS!
Did anyone know that FreddieW was at that school? AWSOME!
What Major are you?
