The last 2 minutes made me feel emotional about becoming a Pharmacist. I know its gonna be hard but I feel fired up to try it!

  2. SykotheraP Says:

I’m applying to USC, It’s the #1 in the country (according to the latest pharm rankings), and seems interested in actually helping its students graduate with a PharmD. Not every pharmacy is like that…

There is only 1 race. The Human race. All other classifications are based solely on cultural or regional origin. At the genetic level that which makes us different between ethnic groups is less than the differences seen within ethnic groups. As an american who traces his ancestry and culture back to mexico I find classifications of Hispanic and Latino to be degrading. They both are words invented by the US census bureau and have no organic meaning in defining who I am.

  4. HispanicIsNotARace1 Says:

Timzack: Are you saying a bunch of crap to defend your idiotic comment? You could have just said, ” Hispanic is not a race, you’re right.” The only people that classify Hispanic as a race are the idiots that have no clue what Hispanic is; then when they find out what it is they change their view. You would not consider Martin Luther King, Jr. and Bill Clinton to be part of the same race. And both of them can self identify as Hispanic/Latino.

  5. Timzack Says:

Why are you critiquing me? I only referred to hispanic as a race because the current social engineering infrastructure considers hispanic to be a race. It wasn’t my classification. BE responsive dog.

  6. HispanicIsNotARace1 Says:

Caucasian is a race. If you do believe in race then you should have known that. Hispanic is equivalent to the word British; except that the USA decided to make Hispanic/Latino into an ethnicity which consist of ANY race – not just Caucasian mixed with Amerindian, which are called mestizos. Everybody in Latin America is not mixed with Amerindian. Just like everybody in the USA is not mixed with Amerindian. Nice try though. Your argument fails because you tried to imply that Latino was a race.

  7. Timzack Says:

Really, so a white kid in appalachia from a severely underfunded public school in an impoverished community has less work to do than some ethiopian immigrant who’s parents are doctors? At USC, i’ve met kids who fit both descriptions. Only one received affirmative action. Btw, do asian kids have “half the life experience” as other minorities? They sure don’t get aff action.

  8. Timzack Says:

Caucasian isn’t a race either, it’s just a convenient grouping, like ‘hispanic.’ As in, people from latin america who could have any amount of caucasian mixed in with amerindian blood. And seriously, that’s why my argument fails? Cough* cough* non-responsive.

  9. HispanicIsNotARace1 Says:

Timzack: Latino is not a race idiot. Latinos can be any race including Caucasian. Your argument fails.

  10. harjot88 Says:

tim- minorities work twice as much and have twice the life experience than any other..they considered that..

Someone sounds bitter. If you are truly seeking nobility then you should spend more time towards your application than discrediting accepted student.

  12. Timzack Says:

Apparently, the admins of this program have decided to censor my comments lest they have to defend their recruitment of black and latino students over more qualified students. Pharmacology is about saving and improving lives, recruiting less qualified students because they are of a certain race insults that noble cause.
