Question by ♥: Do you think that this is Karma?
I was bullied severely in middle and high school for being a nerd and for being “ugly” (aka awkward stage). It was in this small podunk town that was in the middle of nowhere in Wisconsin. I don’t even GET the point of trying to be popular in highschool that’s in a small town of 10,000 that no one gives a crap about.
This group of “popular” girls made fun of me constantly and let me tell you, some of those girls were butt ugly. I am NOT jealous of a girl that’s 5 feet tall and 200 pounds with zits. These girls thought that they were from California and they weren’t very bright.
Now, I go accepted into USC and hot guys constantly hit on me and I get told that I’m a hottie and am no longer in my awkward stage. These girls are still living in their small town and aren’t doing anything with their lives but getting married and popping out babies from jerks.
Being popular gets you NOWHERE.
Smart gets you somewhere.
It seems that I lost in the short-term but I’m winning in the long-term.
Do you think that was Karma?

if you take it one day at a time, then you should be able to see things in the proper perspective.

Yes. Truly the best revenge is living well. Come back home for a little visit this Christmas – with a tan. Be gracious, it will drive the #1 clique wild.
being popular isnt bad but most people do evil things with popularity. thats usually how it goes they bitches get fat and the others get goregous! congrats. thats karma and shes a bitch
maybe karma? but i think its more to do with judgement.
You’re actually a bright, stong person who has a life and finds better things to do than put other people down for no reason.
So, if you believe in God, yeah, it could be karma, and your rewarded for being a good person, but i think you were cool and rational, and did the right thing, probably making you do well, and them bad.
I hope it’ll continue for you, and good luck in the future
The fact that you realized the potential of your intelligence, and actualized success from it has nothing to do with a higher-force. Some people like to believe that what goes around comes around, but what this world is really running on are the seeds we plant for ourselves. How causes and effects interact with each of our lives is just how life pans out. some people get what they deserve only because of what they have done in their past. If Karma teaches anything, it is that we are sum of our choices.
The definition of Karma literally means action and nothing else. So what ever you are describing is not karma but a bit of a superiority complex, which is usually described as boorish or snobbish. I think your generation would say your approaching bitch status.
